Aanpak van de huidige en toekomstige vaardigheid behoeften mbt duurzaamheid, digitalisering en bio-economie in de landbouw: Europese vaardigheidsagenda en strategie.

European agriculture is facing many challenges, the Food 2030 policy highlights the vulnerability of agri-production due to the globalisation of the markets, increasing competition, the prices volatility and the economic uncertainty along with the low incremental crop productivity. Those vulnerabilities are stressed by increasing demand for food and feed while environmental concerns and climatic changes generate more uncertainties. Moving from business-as-usual agriculture to sustainable farming is a complex process which requires a system approach, including reshaping the role of the farmer: from a mere producer of food and commodities, into “wise manager of the natural capital”. To successfully address and react to these drivers, agriculture and forestry needs new business models and skills. The identification of existing and emerging skills needs in bio-economy, sustainability and for the use of digital technology, is of paramount importance in order to develop a strategic approach to keep the European agricultural sector competitive and sustainable in the long term. A clear EU sectoral skills strategy is needed to improve risk management, stem the loss of practical skills, improve understanding of new technologies, develop business and leadership skills and bring about a more coordinated approach to skills development. Bio-economy by linking the various actors of the value chain, by making use of new circular economy model, allows to tackle many of the challenge’s agriculture is facing, but proper skills strategy is missing to allow farmers to address it successfully.

FIELDS zal vertrouwen op eerdere activiteiten en competenties, vertegenwoordigd in haar grote consortium, om een sectorale vaardighedenstrategie te bepalen. Het FIELDS-project zal ook steunen op de lopende activiteiten die gericht zijn op het identificeren van vaardigheidsbehoeften en vaardigheidstekorten in de bio-economie sector en de bosbouwsector, naast aandacht voor duurzaamheid, digitalisering en soft skills.

Curricula

De database met curricula / cursussen vormt een aanvulling op de informatie over scholen voor beroepsonderwijs en -opleiding, aanbieders van beroepsonderwijs en -opleiding en andere onderwijsaanbieders in het algemeen.

Best Practice

De databank met best practices biedt informatie over successen op de projectgebieden: duurzaamheid, digitalisering, bio-economie, sociale vaardigheden, nieuwe technologieën en opleiding in de landbouw, bosbouw en aanverwante sectoren.



Financieringsmogelijkheden

Partners bestudeerden en somden de beschikbare financieringsmogelijkheden op om de vaardighedenstrategieën en het toekomstige gebruik van de output van FIELDS op regionaal/nationaal en EU-niveau te ondersteunen.

De projectendatabank biedt informatie over de stand van zaken van de Europese projecten met betrekking tot landbouw, bosbouw en aanverwante sectoren (bio-economie, digitalisering, soft skills en duurzaamheid).



Regelgevingskader

Het regelgevend kader wordt bestudeerd om ervoor te zorgen dat de strategie lokaal kan worden geïmplementeerd, om ervoor te zorgen dat de resultaten van het project ook na voltooiing zullen worden gebruikt.



Nieuwsbrief

De nieuwsbrieven rapporteren de belangrijkste ontwikkelingen die in het project zijn bereikt en gepresenteerd in het verspreidingsplan en via de belanghebbenden uit elke partnerdatabase.
